HabitHit 1.0
This is an archive page for the first version of HabitHit. The current version 2.0 lives on the main project page.
About
HabitHit 1.0 was a minimal Telegram Mini App for tracking habits, launched in 2025. The first version bet everything on privacy: all habit data was stored only in the user’s personal Telegram CloudStorage, never sent to third-party servers.
The service solved a simple motivation problem: people often give up because they cannot see progress. HabitHit made achievements visible, which helped users keep going.
Key features
Visual tracker
Progress was displayed clearly, with weekly, monthly and yearly charts. This helped users see their momentum and understand how consistently they were working toward their goals.
Data privacy
All habit data was stored in the user’s personal Telegram CloudStorage. Only the account owner had access — no data was sent to third-party servers.
Cross-platform access
Because the app ran inside Telegram, habits stayed in sync across a user’s devices without extra setup. Mark a habit as done on your phone, and the update was immediately visible on desktop.
Why we restarted the project
The first version proved demand but hit its limits: without a server there was no shared progress, no friends, no leagues and no cross-device sync. That led to a full rebuild — HabitHit 2.0.
